SLR Grips
Adding a grip to your digital SLR will provide three benefits:
1. Vertical Controls. The controls found top right of your SLR are repeated on the vertical control grip meaning that when you turn the camera on its side to shoot a portrait style image there is no need to reach awkwardly across the camera.
2. More Power. Most grips offer a secondary battery option or a AA battery cage which is handy when you can't recharge the Li-ion battery.
3. Improved balance. The grip improves the balance between the camera and the lens, particularly when using a telephoto style lens.
