These terms and conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this Website and placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this Website.

Secure Online Ordering and Payment:

We have chosen Barclays EPDQ to process your online payment securely and easily. We have achieved PCI DSS Compliance with Security Metrics to ensure we handle your data in the correct way to protect you.

We use your information only for the following purposes:

To process your order
To serve website content and advertisements to you;
If you consent, to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you via our E Newsletters.

We will debit your payment card at the point of order. If the product(s) are unavailable your card will still be debited to the full amount of the transaction. In the unlikely event we are unable to fulfil your order, we will request credit to your payment card, (refund), within 48 hours from confirmation of this required action.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including: Visa, Mastercard, Switch / Maestro and Delta.

All credit and debit card transactions on this website are processed using a secure online payment system provided by Barclaycard Merchant Services EPDQ.

Registration

You warrant that:

The Personal Information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects.
You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.

Returns and Cancellation Policy

When you buy goods through www.devoncamera.co.uk, you still have the same rights as if you were visiting one of our two branches, in relation to faulty or poorly described goods.

In addition, you are entitled to a seven working-day 'cooling off' period, as described in the 'distance selling' section of the government website www.consumerdirect.gov.uk

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and if for any reason you are not happy please return it within 7 days and we will replace, exchange or refund it at your request - subject to the following conditions:

The goods must be returned with all accessories, packaging, instructions, etc and must be in unused condition.
Digital products can only be accepted if the software is still sealed.
This offer does not apply to film or other sensitised materials, or to developing and printing services.
A proof of purchase must be supplied.
You must return any free gifts that came with the product.
We will not refund any items that have been specially made to your individual specification or personalised.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Where Devon Camera have supplied goods to you, you must take reasonable care of the goods in your possession pending their return to Devon Camera. Devon Camera will only accept the returned goods in their original packaging and which do not exhibit signs of wear or tear. Any returns that do not meet the terms of this policy may be subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee, if accepted. Any use of the delivered goods beyond that necessary to inspect the goods on delivery will invalidate your right to cancel the contract.

Where Devon Camera have supplied goods to you, these goods may be returned to Devon Camera, 14 Waterbeer St, Guildhall Shopping Centre, Exeter EX4 3EH, Devon. Where we are required to exchange goods supplied for replacement stock we will arrange a swap-out procedure with our courier. The cost of returning goods is non-refundable, and where Devon Camera collects goods the direct cost of such will be deducted from the refund.

WEE Regulations

Devon Camera is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. For full details, please click here.

Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009

Under the Waste Battery Regulations Devon Camera Centre Ltd are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries.

We comply with this regulation by offering to take back your waste portable batteries purchased from ourselves via delivery to one of our two stores.

We are in the process of gaining official collection bins for the stores; but until these have been received we will store any waste portable batteries on the premises.

Product Availability

Our web site is regularly updated throughout the day, to ensure that we provide accurate details on product availability. However, we cannot guarantee availability. In the case of sales exceeding our stock level, orders placed outside our opening hours may be subject to delayed delivery. We will contact you as soon as possible if this is the case.

If you place an especially high-value order we reserve the right to contact you for further confirmation of your order details, prior to authorisation.
